Only way is forward, there's no way to get back
Only feeling sorry when you live in the past
Waiting on something, bringing you nothing
Waiting in line for a dream
It's okay if you're
Not okay today
It's okay if you're
Not together
It's okay
(Only way is forward, there's no way to get back)
It's okay
(Always say you're grateful 'cause it all goes too fast)
It's okay
(Waiting on something, bringing you nothing)
It's okay
(Waiting in line for a dream)
Can't believe you're gone
Not where you belong
Making me question
Even though I had the faith
It's gon' be hard everyday but it's okay
You gon' cry and scream sometimes, I swear that it's okay
You might doubt yourself you but you gon' do it anyway
It's not gon' be perfect, but I know that it's okay
It's okay, I get brighter everyday
I’m the wave, I’m gon’ pray
Blessed in every single way
They gon' love, they gon' hate
They gon' try tarnish my name
It's the same, seal my fate
Promise I'm gon' be okay
It's okay
(Only way is forward, there's no way to get back)
It's okay
(Always say you're grateful 'cause it all goes too fast)
It's okay
(Waiting on something, bringing you nothing)
It's okay
(Waiting in line for a dream)
It's okay
(Only way is forward, there's no way to get back)
It's okay
(Always say you're grateful 'cause it all goes too fast)
It's okay
(Waiting on something, bringing you nothing)
It's okay
(Waiting in line for a dream)

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
